Applicant must pass all the instruments by achieving at least 50% score on each assessment. Failure to achievethe 50% score in any of the instrumentunder the various assessment will be awarded a fail status for the said assessment after the three attempts.
APTITUDE TEST
Aptitude Test is a formal written examination to assess the knowledge and competencies of an applicant in the aspects of numerical literacy, languages and general knowledge / critical thinking
PORTFOLIO
Portfolio is a formal document that contains a compilation of evidence documenting prior experiential learning of a learner acquired over a period of time.
HOW TO PREPARE THE PORTFOLIO
Portfolio can be prepared either in Bahasa Malaysia or English via online and which will be assessed by the appointed panels.
The completed portfolio and its associated evidence must be submitted in a softcopy format (online) with letter of intention or cover letter for portfolio submissions.
WHY NEED TO PREPARE THE PORTFOLIO
To demonstrate the prior experiential learning and to help panelsvisualize and evaluate competences acquired by the learners either in informal or non-formal learning.

WHAT IS THE REQUIREMENT FOR PORTFOLIO
For recognition of prior learning, applicants are required to disclose all formal, informal and non-formal learning in the form of a Portfolio.
Thus, these may include certificated learning and experiential learning. For certificated learning, applicants are required to attach certified copies of their certificates and documentation of courses.
As for experiential learning, applicants must be careful to match their experience to the stated MQF competencies .
Applicants also need to select relevant supporting evidence and link it to their reflective description. This may include documentary evidence, statements/testimonies from employers/clients/colleagues.
INTERVIEW
This is a structured oral interview-based assessment to asses the applicant’s skills and knowledge/competencies to undertake tertiary studies. The objectives is to seeking clarification on competencies that are technical or verbal in nature, soliciting for more evidence of the various forms of prior experiential learning and triangulation of prior learning provided in the portfolio.
