The Lifelong Learning Center, Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL), which functions as the APEL Assessment Center, plays a crucial role in ensuring equitable space and opportunities are provided to those who wish to further their education. The APEL Assessment Center at UPNM continuously remains attuned to the definition and concept of Lifelong Learning (LLL) that aligns with the nation’s current aspirations towards achieving its goal of becoming an advanced nation.

APEL stands for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning. Therefore, in line with UPNM’s primary direction to become a premier defense university in education, training, and knowledge creation, the UPNM APEL Assessment Center provides opportunities, especially for the military community, who meet the criteria and aspire to pursue higher education through the APEL program.
